Event Matches are a series of situational matches found in Super Smash Bros. Melee. There are 51 event matches in total.
Unlocking event matches
Most event matches aren't available at the start. By successfully completing the previous event matches, you'll be able to gain access to the higher ones.
To unlock event matches 31 - 39, you'll need to unlock Young Link, Jigglypuff, Luigi, and Falco.
To unlock event matches 40 - 50, you'll need to unlock Mr. Game and Watch (which means unlocking everyone else as well).
To unlock event match 51, you'll need to complete event matches 1 through 50.
