Articuno
Articuno (フリーザー, Furīzā, Freezer in original Japanese language versions) is a Pokémon that comes out of a Poké Ball.
Appearance
Articuno is one of the three legendary birds whose specific element is ice. Articuno is a large bird that has enourmous wings that are all blue. The outer-lining of it's wings are sort of a grayish-white color as well as it's stomach. Frost can be seen around Articuno as it flies.
Function
Articuno is a legendary Pokémon that appears out of Poké Balls on Melee. Articuno's appearance is rare since it's a legendary Pokémon. Articuno's chance of appearing out of a Poké Ball is double in the event match Legendary Pokémon. Articuno uses Blizzard as it's attack. Articuno will unleash a blast of ice from it's body. Any character that is in Blizzard's attack radius will take damage. Those characters that are in the blast radius will be frozen for a few seconds and will be subjected to an affect that is similar to the effect of Freezie. Characters that are also affected by Articuno's blizzard will be sent towards the top of the screen. Lighter characters will have a good chance of dying at low percentages from this attack. Articuno's attack does not harm the summoner.
