Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome, editors and users, to the Smash Arena! Each week this forum hosts a tussle between two characters from the Super Smash Bros. series! The winner gets, well, nothing. It's more of a poll but functionally, this is a popularity contest. You may vote for your favorite or who you think would win in an competition between the two combatants that round. No, you don't have to vote for the character with strength & power, just vote if you are a total fanboy of the character. So what are you waiting for? Get voting! Remember, you can remain anonymous! If you have any requests for future fights, please feel free to leave a message here.
The Rules, Briefly
- You can only vote once.
- Vote under the name of the fighter you are voting for.
- When voting, you can give a brief comment on why you voted for that fighter, or you can just leave your signature.

- Any comments about the fight should be left in the comments sections.

- These guys were here from the beginning. I may have had problems with these guys being too annoying, (Does anyone like running into a suddenly walking Bob-omb?) but these guys get a vote for not creating a large explosion when they do explode, and for saving me in Sudden Death; I got Star KOed on Rainbow Cruise as Snake, the Pit who thought he beat me taunted....And a Bob-omb fell on his head a split second before I died... | These two heroes have enough weaponry to arm dozens of troops. Good thing hammerspace exists, otherwise neither of these one-man armies could take a step. (Well, they may be one-man armies, but they're not just one man themselves - they've each had a couple of alternate selves.) You could call them jacks-of-all-trades, you could call them crazed collectors, or you could just stand back and let them have it out.

- Snake's just an annoying cigarette smoking agent who has the weakness that he's gonna die of rapid cellular degeneration soon. Link on the other hand has saved the world in multiple eras and timelines, has the Triforce and could absolutely obliferate Snake using Triforce Slash. - Snake has a DACUS that can easily work well against Link. Although his grenades take longer to detonate, they can be thrown farther than Link's Bombs. Boomerangs aren't as versatile as missiles, and his Spin Attack his not going to compare to Snake's bomb jump. Snake also has advantages in his tilts in that they come out faster than Link's can. Bottom line is Snake is going to horribly murder Link. (No insult intended to sword-wielding guy in green costume or supporters of said person). RAN1domchupunch!!99 00:17, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
- I like playing Legend of Zelda games, and I haven't played any Metal Gear games, but from what I've seen, Snake could take down link without even using any of his arsenal of weapons (CQC triumphs). MarioGalaxyMay Guthix be with you... 03:14, October 10, 2009 (UTC)
