Even though I despise the wi-fi lag, I will still brawl anyone online as long as they're respectful. If you want to Brawl me, contact me here and place your friend code. As you can see in my smasherbeta, I play a large variety of characters so don't expect me to play the same character more than 2-3 times. If you fight me, be sure to set the rules to a 3 stock or 5 stock match with all items turned off (be sure to specifically turn off the smash ball and capsules). While I prefer items in FFAs, I do not like them in 1 on 1 matches.

Meteor Smash

Please stop edit warring on the article. We can settle it on the talk page. 98.111.95.78 05:04, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

Signatures

You should know that people often sign posts using ~~~~. This causes the wiki to substitute your signature along with the time in UTC, which saves you the trouble of inputting the time. This is the usual way to time-stamp posts, as UTC ensures we can all easily figure out the time difference between posts, so try to use this method when posting on talk pages. Ok then, I am new here so I didn't full understand the meaning of the signatures. Omega Tyrant (talk) 05:07, April 15, 2010 (UTC)
That's fine. Also, in talk page discussions, you want to indent a line to show that you are replying to a post by placing a colon (:) at the beginning of the line. It makes it easier to read the talk page. RAN1 (talkcontributions) 05:10, April 15, 2010 (UTC)

Wifi won't show anything. Wario is really bad at wifi and less when playing against America which is almost guaranteed lag, at least input-wise. Firewario (talk) 13:26, April 23, 2010 (UTC)

Ok then, I understand. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 14:06, April 23, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks bro

It's nice someone noticed :D Yeah, I love Wolf, but I'm more of a grammar cop than a discoverer. You, on the other hand, seem to have made a ridiculous number of cool discoveries. Nice going! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mako Shark (talkcontribs) April 24, 2010 12:35 UTC

Brawl

Thanks for you offer :D My router hates Wifi, so I can't play online until I figure out how to set it straight. In the event that I manage to do this, here's my friend code: 3910 9774 7052. I badly need some practice too. Mako Shark (talk) 10:12, April 26, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 15:27, April 26, 2010 (UTC)
A friend of mines wants to brawl someone on the wikia. Want to join the brawl?--Megatron1 (talk) 01:15, May 8, 2010 (UTC)
Not today, I woke up at around 1:00 am so I'll be going to sleep once I am done eating. I'll be available tomorrow. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 01:19, May 8, 2010 (UTC)

Horizontal momentum canceling

There's some things I need to clarify. When you say "use your fastest aerial", are you referring to the aerial that ends fastest, starts fastest, or a mix of both? Is there a reason that air dodging is a better option for Snake and Ike? I know that air dodging is quicker than all of Ike's aerials, but as Snake, my friend Luke sometimes uses u-air instead of an air dodge, and he often uses the cypher afterwards, but I'm not sure if this is for the purpose of momentum canceling or not. Also, Wolf's best horizontal momentum canceling move is his n-air... I'm not sure why, but I suspect that each hit of the a n-air contributes to the canceling. People tend to use b-air anyway, but this may be worth testing if you haven't already.

Still, great chart. Mako Shark (talk) 06:12, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

For the fastest aerial, it is simply their aerial that can be completed the fastest. For Wolf, his bair finishes faster than his nair, therefore producing better results in my testing. In the case of Ike and Snake, I tested Ike's bair and I tested Snake's bair and uair. But their air dodge produced better results for both of them. Air dodges are more difficult to use however, since air dodges can and must be perform sooner than aerials. With Ike and Snake, it requires greater reflexes. The Cypher does not negate any momentum and Luke probably uses it afterwards since it is much safer for Snake to recover above and away from the stage. I hope this clarifies your questions. I can assured you my testing was very thorough and I tested everyone's special moves that produces movement and listed those that can negate momentum. Sonic's Meteor Smash

Isn't it a meteor smash? Look at these links:

Hmmm, that is the diagonal trajectory of a meteor in these videos, so may actually be both a semi-spike and a meteor. I am reluctant however to call it a meteor too just yet due to how Sonic's u-smash works. Before readding it, I'll do some launch speeds test to determine if it is a meteor as well though this may be difficult due to the u-smash properties. Sonic's Meteor Smash

All right, thank you. ^_^
