Vandal

There’s a vandal named User:208.102.169.230 who vandelized Miles spirit sandbox’s talk page and he vandalized your comment about Mewtwo looking like Giygas from earthbound on my talk page. 174.55.24.64 05:09, October 12, 2020 (EDT)

Lucario alt (SSBB)

Well, I'll accept your feedback.

However, I still don't get why you took Luigi as the primary example of why my edit was wrong. And I was a bit offended because I thought you were disrespectful to me at first. (I'm sorry if I misinterpreted your edit summary, though.) CSR (talk) 01:34, June 5, 2021 (EDT)

Not Omega Toad, but what that edit summary is trying to say is that Lucario's white alt. being a reference to Metagross's shiny coloration is practically too much of a stretch to be noteworthy (yes, both are Steel-type Pokémon, but that's pretty much all they have in common). Yes, I understood what he was trying to say about the errors I had in my edit and my edit summary. Lucario's white alt resembled Shiny Metagross due to them having similar color combinations (white color, golden claws, etc.). In addition, I saw similar edits in other alt articles, such as Incineroar's orange outfit being similar to Infernape's color combinations. Well, I admit that it's a big of a stretch, though. I wished that Omega Toad just said something simply like "speculation" or "big of a stretch" instead of edit summaries like "5th color resembling Luigi". CSR (talk) 02:02, June 5, 2021 (EDT)
Well anyway, I do have a rep of jokingly making snarky remarks, though of course I mean well so apologies if you were upset. But the fact is Lucario resembling shiny Metagross is too big of a stretch as aside from them both being steel types, they have nothing in common (a bipedal wolf thing vs a metal 4-legged spider-like thingamajig). Alternate costumes need to be clear cut to be considered a reference, plus the debate about orange Incineroar was decided by concensus years ago after a long and heated debate.
Besides the similar color scheme they need to have clear cut design similarities to be noted, sadly Pokémon never gets any good alts (though that's likely more The Pokémon Company's fault rather than Sakurai's).
