Scarlet Classic IX was a esports tournament held at Rutgers University's Busch Student Center in Piscataway, New Jersey on April 20th, 2024, and featured regional-level Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate events at the student center's Multipurpose Room. This event marked the first time in the school year that the Busch Student Center's esports room was opened, as the room had been closed all year due to budget constraints.
