The Mushroom Kingdom (Japanese:キノコ王国) is a primary location in the Mario universe, and is where most Mario games take place.

Location description

The Mushroom Kingdom is presided over by Princess Peach, and its celebrity hero is the jumping plumber Mario.

The Mushroom Kingdom, though the fictional area where almost all Mario games take place, is not the only Kingdom in the franchise; the Game Boy Advance game Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, in particular, takes place in the neighboring Beanbean Kingdom.

  • Mario Circuit (tentative name): A stage revealed on the Nintendo World 2006 trailer but has yet to be confirmed in an update on Smash Bros. DOJO!!. This takes place in the intersection of a figure-8 race track and represents the Mario Kart series.
