Amazed at the amount of players that attended, and the skill level so apparent among them; '''RaynEX''' quickly decided to pursue a competitive career in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Soonafter, at a tournament held in 2005, '''RaynEX''' befriended the 5 members of NNR (The Neon Night Riders). The members of NNR had held the tournament to informally announce their competitive participation to the community, attracting players from far and wide to gather and cooperatively improve at the provided venue. Eventually '''RaynEX''', and his doubles partner ~~[[Unknown522]]~~, joined the 5 smashers under that same crew apellation, solidifying what would turn out to be one of the most skilled and successful Smash crews ever conceived within Toronto.
