Super Mario Bros. 2 (orignally Doki Doki Panic in Japan, but then modified later and called Super Mario USA) is a platforming video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System video game console. It was released in North America in October 1988, in Europe on April 28, 1989 and in Japan on July 14, 1992.

Super Smash Bros.

Fly Guys, a sub-species of Shy Guys, appeard in the Yoshi's Island stage.

Super Smash Bros. Melee

The Mushroom Kingdom II stage is based on the settings of Super Mario Bros. 2, namely Subcon. Also, many characters from this game, namely Birdo and Pidget (but also Shy Guys as well) appear in Super Smash Bros. Melee either as enemies or as trophies. Lastly, Shy Guys were introduced in this game, appearing in two stages: Yoshi's Story and Mario Circuit.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Fly Guys has been shown to fly around on the Yoshi's Island stage, while Shy Guys has been seen to drive around on Mario Circuit. Also, turnips returns.
