CJ eSports (CJE) is a professional esports organization based in Saitama, Japan. It was founded on July 7th, 2019 by the famous Japanese Melee Sheik player CaptainJack. Rather than recruiting the most competitive players available, CJ eSports' recruitment is based on existing acquaintances. The team is exclusively focused on the Super Smash Bros. series.

aMSa, Sanne, Kaito, ABU and the very young Kojiro were the first sponsored players of the team. Lightning Igarashi, a friend of ABU, joined the team in August 2019. On January 23rd, 2021, CJ eSports announced the signing of the Bowser main and Wi-Fi Warrior Hero.
