Overview[edit]
Link thrusts the Master Sword upward and keeps it suspended above his head. It is quite powerful and is a good KO move. It has a very long hitbox duration, making it impossible to airdodge as long as it stays over the opponent. This property makes it able to true combo from a down throw at high percentages, but only the weaker hitbox will hit an airdodging opponent. Additionally, it has moderate landing lag unless it auto-cancels. Link's up aerial in all Smash games is based upon his Up Thrust skill from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.
