No it doesn't. Player Avatars never get any form of back story, and as a result, the wiki doesn't have an article for them. You make a character, you're put into the games world, and you hunt. No back story, character development, or anything. So they don't have an article for the Avatar on the MH Wiki, or at least none that I can find in the wikis search engine.

Origin images

As someone who's never played Monster Hunter, I tried my best to find suitable origin images for the Hunter's Armor and Rathalos Armor. I figured that Monster Hunter 4 would be the source of the designs, since it appears to be the most recent entry in the series at the time of SSB4's DLC. However, if anyone else (i.e. someone who's actually played the games) can identify a closer match to the Mii costumes, then please replace the images I've uploaded.

Other than that, could we find a higher quality render of the Hunter's Armor image? Doing Google image searches for "hunter armor" isn't very helpful when "hunter" is in the name of the series itself... --PeabodySam (talk) 19:28, November 21, 2019 (EST)

I noticed that the Rathalos article compared the Rathalos Armor to the design from Monster Hunter Tri, and... yeah, I think that's a closer match than the image I found from Monster Hunter 4. So, I've swapped in some concept art from that game, since that seems to be the highest quality image I can find of that armor...
