This seems to fall prey to the same issue I was concerned about in the first place: a lack of future-proofing. Do we really want to have to upload images of every single variant amiibo for every Smash character from now until forever? On top of that, I don't really see how breaking them out of wave-based sections we currently have is beneficial. Miles (talk) 14:16, 26 May 2015 (EDT)

Well that's why it's just a draft. I'm undecided on the "other amiibo series" issue, mostly because future-proofing the page in general is impossible anyway, and I prefer using images over messy reams of text.

As for the wave distinctions. At some point in the future, which amiibo came out in which wave will be completely irrelevant aside from historical interest. Even at this point, I don't really see why "time of release" is the main sectionizing factor aside from those that have yet to be released. I did set the table up so performing a sort on the image columns will sort by wave first, so people that want it can have it. Toomai Glittershine The Labbie 15:35, 26 May 2015 (EDT)

The other issue remains though, in terms of organization. The release waves' significance is still paramount, I would think, since it's sorting by release date. It also lets us easily sort out store exclusives the way we already do, without trying to lump it into the same big table. Miles (talk) 18:39, 26 May 2015 (EDT)
