Text color[edit]

(insert text)

So for example if you wanna make the text color blue you do:

Raikou, Entei and Suicune are clearly cats! NOT dogs, you fools! which becomes:

Raikou, Entei and Suicune are clearly cats! NOT dogs, you fools!

Also I forgot to mention you can use different colors using the method where you put something like "#00A24F" (whatever you call it) For example you can do Pictures taken instantaneously! I'm a photographic genius if I do say so myself. OK get ready for an instant memory! Look at the camera. Ready? say "fuzzy pickles"!

Regarding the female Pokémon Trainer[edit]

Yes, it's true that a playable female Trainer was first made available in Crystal Version. However, the Pokémon Trainers in Smash are less like the Animal Crossing Villagers & the Inklings and more like the Dragon Quest Heroes in that each one is their own distinct character.

Furthermore, the Wiki does treat Leaf as if she's specifically the heroine from FireRed and LeafGreen rather than treat her like a generic female Pokémon Trainer in general. Yes, she does have alternate costumes based on other female protagonists from the Pokémon series, but unlike Hero, they're only simple color swaps rather than direct representations of those other characters.

Hope you understand. SmashTurtlesSig1.pngSuperSmashTurtles of the Turtle TribeSmashTurtlesSig2.png 23:26, August 16, 2020 (EDT)

Talk page suggestions[edit]

If you want to show support for someone's suggestion, then mention that on the talk page with the suggestion. Don't take it to that editor's or an admin's talk page like you did here and here. --CanvasK (talk) 12:20, April 28, 2021 (EDT)

The suggestion was made months ago, posting it on the talk page would probably go unnoticed.

Gligar2007 (talk) 12:22, April 28, 2021 (EDT)

Irrelevant. It keeps things organized. If there are no responses then people either didn't care, didn't have anything to add, or it went unnoticed as you've pointed out in your other responses. Similarly, don't reply to a post on your/a talk page on a different talk page because, again, it keeps it organized. --CanvasK (talk) 12:31, April 28, 2021 (EDT)

Signature[edit]

I suggest you read the signature policy. Namely, you aren't allowed to use images that appear in mainspace, in this case the head icons. You will need to reupload them with a different name to use them in a signature. Additionally, there should always be a timestamp present. This is done automatically by using the 4 tildes (~~~~) to sign. Although it isn't required, it is recommended to also include a link to your talk page. --CanvasK (talk) 09:15, June 26, 2022 (EDT)

<edit conflict> I know it doesn't say on the policy page that including both a link to your user page and talk page is required, that is typically what is enforced by the admins, so it should be treated as a rule. Alex the Weeb 09:20, June 26, 2022 (EDT)
It only says that one or the other is required, but Alex is right that both is preferred and it is practically a rule. --CanvasK (talk) 09:29, June 26, 2022 (EDT)

How do I reupload an image?

Gligar2007 09:19, June 26, 2022 (EDT)

Don't put your signature in a separate paragraph to the end of your message. Place it right next to the last thing you said in your message, like this: Alex the Weeb 09:23, June 26, 2022 (EDT)
The most straightforward way is to save the image to your computer/device, go to "upload file", select the saved file, give it a name (something like "Gligar2007 sig.png"), add [[Category:User images]] to the summary, then hit the upload button. You'll probably be told that it is a duplicate image, just click the "upload anyway" button. Now you have your own image. The signature policy goes over how to include them in your sig if you don't already know. --CanvasK (talk) 09:29, June 26, 2022 (EDT)

Your ban[edit]

For constantly being disruptive and outright ignoring me when I warned you, even after being given a second chance in the Discord server after what was supposed to be a permanent ban when you solicited illegal activity there, you have been banned from both there and here. I still decided to give you a bit of leniency by making your ban not permanent, but should you come back around after your ban and ever again repeat that behavior, I, nor any of the other admins, will not grant you any such leniency. If you choose to respond, do choose your words carefully. Also if you harass the admins outside the wiki, like you did with before when you were permanently banned from the Discord server, that will result in a non-negotiable permaban. Policy pages[edit]

These edits are unacceptable, a non-admin should never be unilaterally adding new "rules" to a policy page without any prior discussion, do not edit policy and guideline pages in such a way again. Additionally, see SmashWiki is not Wikipedia; "someone from Mario Wiki pointed this out" doesn't matter, we are not Mario Wiki and do not have the same policies as them, any attempts to enforce Mario Wiki's policies on here that we do not share will be shot down. Wouldn't usernames based off people killed in controversial events such as mass shootings be senstitive or insulting to their families which is why they shouldn't be allowed? (such as George Floyd or Rachel Scott). Therefore, names of real life people shouldn't be allowed no matter what so we won't have to always update the list of banned usernames. Just as my edit summary reverting you said, read the very first rule on the username policy page, we already have a blanket rule against blatantly offensive usernames. And we're absolutely not going to ban real names from being used, especially not on the basis of "it might become unsavory later", which you could extend to any sort of name.
