Mewtwo[edit]

A Legendary Pokémon known for its power. Use Confusion or Disable as a diversion, then land a Shadow Ball! For its Final Smash, Mewtwo transforms into Mega Mewtwo Y and fires a projectile that freezes and launches the opponent! But beware when playing him of its severe lack in SPEED.

How to unlock[edit]

  • you have to use Greninja and win intensity 7 or over and he will be unlocked.

About this fighter in this game[edit]

Mewtwo is the 2nd after Greninja in defence and power. He lacks speed so much that his attack speed is so slow that it is very hard to hit, He does have some positives of power and defence. He is a heavy weight. Mewtwo is a character who lacks speed severely with absolutely horrible recovery. He is so slow that his air time is horrible. He is like Greninja, Horrible times when in air. But Mewtwo can at least hit but it is very hard for him. Mewtwo's powerful defence allows him to survive a lot, A lot longer. He has such good defence also his power is excellent. But the problem is his speed much like the other super power fighters but Mewtwo is like a Greninja but not as extreme.

Attributes[edit]

Attributes[edit]

  • Change He is a heavy weight with a weight of 109.
  • Buff Has ultimate attack.
  • Buff Defence is 0.6×.
  • Buff Resistance to launching is 0.95×.
  • Buff All together he is very, hard to launch. He is unable to be KOd under 100%, or even 140%. Possibly 160% at some points. Greninja is 200% or something but he cannot even land a hit. 2 Mario side smash is faster than a Greninja 1 neutral jab so Mewtwo is at least not like that.
  • Nerf Super slow run speed, 0.765.
  • Nerf Super Slow walk speed, 0.624.
  • Nerf Horrible jumping.
  • Nerf Super slow air speed, 0.511.

Moveset[edit]

Note: All numbers are listed as base damage, without the 1v1 multiplier.

  Name Damage Description
Neutral attack   6% Extends its arm to emit a pulse of dark energy. Repeatedly pressing the attack button causes Mewtwo to sway its arm up and down to emit multiple pulses of dark energy before finishing with a dark energy-infused upward swipe. This move does not have much start up which is a good thing but It does have a super long Lag of 35 Frames just for a small hit. But So powerful and can do easy KOs. Remember this guy is like a Greninja but Greninja has almost double power.
2% (loop), 5% (last)
Forward tilt   23.6% Spins, then swings its tail forward. It has such a long range but it has so a lot of lag, 30 Frames of lag and 28 frames of start up. Mario can do around 2 smashes or 1.5 smashes during this. It can KO Mario At 44.5% at edge of stage and 53.2% at middle of stage.
Up tilt   22.5% Telekinetically backflips to swing its tail in an overhead arcing motion. It has a lot of power, however it does have 30 frames of start up and 38 frames of lag. Can KO Mario at 80%.
Down tilt Tail Sweep 19.2% Crouches and spins around to swing its tail in front of itself. It has high start up, 28 frames and very high lag, 45. But it is very powerful. But Like what happens to Greninja, Speed is slower than a Guzzlord walk and he knock opponents so far. Mewtwo can't combo, he is in the same situation as Greninja but at least no that bad as Greninja.
Dash attack   16.8% A lunging, dark energy-infused palm thrust. Very high knockback. It has very high start up (29 Frames) and 32 End lag.
Forward smash Shadow Blast 31% (no Charge)
41% (Fully Charged)
Quickly cups its hands to its side, and then thrusts them forward to perform a double palm thrust that emits a blast of dark energy. It has such power that Can OHKO opponents at 0% but it has 70 Frames start up and 50 Frames lag.
Up smash Galaxy Force (6% (hits 1-3), 12% (hit 4) No charged)
(7% (hits 1-3), 19% (hit 4) No charged)
Thrusts its arm upward to emit a swirling blast of dark energy. It functions very well as an anti-air attack due to the energy blast itself being a large disjoint that covers above Mewtwo's head. It is so slow but extremely powerful and can OHKO opponents. Start up is 64 start up and 42 End lag.
Down smash Shadow Bomb 30% (no Charge)
40% (Full Charge)
Extends its arm at a diagonal angle toward the ground to emit a blast of dark energy from its fingertip. It is extremely powerful and can OHKO opponents as usual. It has 67 Start up frames and 60 End lag frames.
Neutral aerial   2.2% (hits 1-5), 6% (hit 6) Discharges electricity around itself. It has 33 Start up and so much lag. 55 Lag.
Forward aerial Shadow Scratch 26.2% A dark energy-infused swipe. It is so powerful but so slow at the same time and really, he can't use aerials of start up and jump height. he is useless in aerial attacking. 40 Start up and 40 End lag. It KOs Mario at centre at 36% and middle at 48.2%/
Back aerial   20% Swings its tail in an upward arc. It has a very large range. It has a lot, a lot of lag. 50 Lag and 30 Frames and the attack is so slow. It was forgotten to talk about slow attack in all moves but they are all very slow.
Up aerial   19.8% Backflips to swing its tail in an overhead arcing motion, similarly to its up tilt. As all moves it has high knock back but very slow and similar speed to back aerial.
Down aerial   26.7% Backflips to perform a dark energy-infused stomp. It is so powerful but of the speed it can't really meteor smash. 40 Start up and 50 Lag frames. It ground opponents if It can hit which is like 5% chance.
Grab   Telekinetically holds an opponent. Mewtwo's overall grab range is a bit above average.
Pummel   4% Shocks the opponent with darkness. A super slow pummel but not like how it was before the update.
Forward throw Shadow Cannon 5% (hit 1), 2.5% (Shadow Balls) Telekinetically lifts the opponent diagonally in the air before firing five Shadow Balls at them. And can land KOs in 3-4 uses or even 2 rarely.
Back throw   15% Telekinetically throws the opponent backward. Possessing very high knockback. It ignores weight and is used by psychic, very powerful.
Up throw Psychic Whirlwind 19% Telekinetically whirls the opponent around itself before launching them upward above its head. Very powerful.
Down throw   10% (hit 1), 6% (throw) Telekinetically slams the opponent to the ground, and then somersaults in order to strike them with its tail. Like all throws and other moves, High end lag.
Floor attack (front)   10% Telekinetically spins around to swing its tail before getting up.
Floor attack (back)   10% Telekinetically spins around to swing its tail before getting up.
Floor attack (trip)   9% Performs a dark energy-infused swipe behind itself and then in front of itself while getting up.
Edge attack   10% Swings its tail in front of itself while climbing up.
Neutral special Shadow Ball 3% (uncharged), 40% (fully charged) Cups its hands to its side and creates a large, blackish violet sphere of dark energy between its hands, then thrusts its hands forward to launch the sphere. It can be fired immediately, which, when coupled with its erratic movement pattern, allows it to function as a pressuring option like Fireball. Very powerful but high lag and the ball is so, so slow making it super easy to dodge. Slower then Samus's dense shot is SSB4.
Side special Confusion 1.15% (hits 1-7), 1% (throw), 1.4× (reflected projectiles) Swipes forward to emit a ripple of psychic energy from its hand. It has impressive utility, thanks to it functioning as a reflector, a command grab, and even a recovery option. As a grab, the ripple spins opponents around and leaves them tumbling downward, dropping them in front of Mewtwo and allows it to follow-up with other attacks. As a recovery option, its first use in midair gives Mewtwo a slight vertical boost, although it halts most of its horizontal momentum. It has a very high start up and lag. 70 and 60.
Up special Teleport Teleports to a different location. It is completely invulnerable during the move. It has less ending lag if Mewtwo Teleports directly back onto the ground, and it grants Mewtwo some horizontal momentum if ended in midair.
Down special Disable 5% Emits a minuscule spark of psychic energy from its eyes toward the opponent, stunning them. It only works if the opponent is facing Mewtwo and making eye contact with it. If the opponent is in the air, they are slightly launched backward with set knockback, instead of being stunned. Useful at high percentages to guarantee a KO, but difficult to land. Due to being a projectile, Disable can also be reflected. The move itself can be reversed.
Final Smash Psystrike 80% Mega Evolves into Mega Mewtwo Y and performs Psystrike, its signature move in the Pokémon games. Psystrike is a powerful sphere of psychic energy that plows through both opponents and walls, and any opponent caught will be stunned before being launched by an intense, mind-shattering blow.

Victory poses[edit]

  • Thrusts its hand forward, radiating dark energy while emitting an ominous growl. He says "How dare you Challenge me!"
  • Turns its back to the screen and looks back over its shoulder, scoffing. He says "I'm finished with you"
  • Does a single spin while levitating, then poses with a dark aura bursting from its body as it laughs. He says "Die!"

Taunts[edit]

  • If Mewtwo has a higher score then he says, "Your nothing but a piece of S**t". If he is loosing he yells "COME ON. FIGHT AND DIE!"
  • Mewtwo thrusts his arm at the direction of the opponent saying "Your so dead". It does do damage, 4%.
  • Mewtwo laughs like Master Hand.
