Summer Storm was a regional tournament that occurred on July 13th-15th, 2018 in New Maryland, New Brunswick. It was the final tournament in the The Storm Series. The event featured singles and doubles events for both Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Through donations from the "Ryan Ford Compendium", pro player Ryan Ford was able to attend Summer Storm. Summer Storm was announced by The Storm Series twitter account on March 12th, 2018.
