The Eggdog Invitational was a Super Smash Bros. Melee supermajor held in Vancouver, British Columbia from August 29th-September 1st, 2024.

The Top 4 players at Galint Melee Open 2024 (S2J, Soonsay, KoDoRiN, and Junebug) faced off against the four lowest-placing players in pools at the Eggdog Invitational (Chango, Lowercase hero, Snap, and Zamu) for a chance to take the latter's spot in the final bracket:

• Placed top 8 at Eggdog Scramble 2, Valhalla IV, Altitude Sickness, Full Bloom 2024, COMBO BREAKER 2024, or Smash Camp: New Lands 2024
