Young, Balanced, and Gifted (YBG) is primarily a North American esports crew that was founded by Jordan Hepburn (also known as leafyified) on October 13th, 2025, which he later transferred ownership to Wayne Williams, a 28 year old manager who has been picking players for the crew in various regions such as Florida, The Carolinas, New York, Arizona, and even Britain. The organization is currently sponsoring Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players at the moment, the management has picked up an Rivals of Aether 2 player, but that said player isn't active anymore. They also manage the weekly series Leafy Nation Super Majors (LNSM), a friend group bracket ran by leafyified that primarily served the purpose to make his friends better at the game, which Wayne took to another level, he started adding money with a few other people and made a Power Ranking to ensure competition was at an All-time peak. Young, Balanced, and Gifted first entered the Smash scene on October 13th, 2025 acting as an online North American crew within the community, but they never made an appearance into the actual crew battle league space, such as Global Smash League.
Most players on YBG's roster are not signed. However, on January 16th, 2026, when leafyified transferred owner to Wayne, He became YBG's first signed player.[1] and Lilgame10 became their second signed player on the same date. Vedhan was signed on March 9th, 2026, he became YBG's third sponsored player in the crew's short history.[2]
