Walking Speed[edit]
Running Speed has an article seperate from Dashing, so there's not a good reason to not have an article about Walking Speed. --TStick (talk) 15:21, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, running speed should be (and will be within the next five minutes) be merged with dashing. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 15:23, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
If that's the case, than the formating on the list here needs to be improved.--TStick (talk) 15:28, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
"table"[edit]
Yeah, how exactly would that work out? A "fastest" tier, "somewhat fast", "medium"... I mean, I could do a table myself, but I'd like someone else's opinion on a ranking system. Also, that "character reaches top speed faster" thing sounds pretty complicated. --HavocReaper'48 14:36, June 24, 2010 (UTC)
- I would agree with making a chart based on that, but I would like to know how these rankings were found, especially any proof that there is notable acceleration involved with walking speed. Omega Tyrant

SSB4 Walking Speeds[edit]
So, in today's Pic of the Day, it clearly states that Marth and Lucina are tied at first, with Fox being at #3…should this be mentioned at all? I mean, I know it's not much, but still, it is useful information on a page like this one. Aidan the Gamer 08:03, 16 October 2014 (EDT)
- The in-game tips declare that Robin is the slowest walker, then Jigglypuff, then Ganondorf. This page claims that Jigglypuff's still the slowest, with Ganondorf being second-slowest, and Robin is the tenth-slowest. So, is the data wrong, or is the game lying? --Luigifan18 (talk) 21:08, 7 February 2015 (EST)
- I thought Bowser is the slowest, but this? Smashworker101 (talk) 21:13, 7 February 2015 (EST)
- For the record, we're using this for the Smash 4 table, and it isn't exactly official, but it's the closest thing we got.

- Yes, I know how all of you like smashboards. Smashworker101 (talk) 22:25, 7 February 2015 (EST)

Move suggestion[edit]
"You don't walking, you walk."
Why is that a reason to move it? – Smiddle 06:49, 9 October 2015 (EDT)
- It's Too late. Pages have been moved from (Example:) "Jumping" to "jump", "Sidestepping" to "sidestep", etc.

Ice Climber discrepancy[edit]
In this page, for the Ultimate table, the Ice Climber partner is labelled as N/A, yet this is not the case in pages such as Walk or Air speed (where they're labelled as Popo/Nana). Any reason? 148.0.118.196 23:18, June 6, 2026 (UTC)
- Nana is usually marked as "N/A" because she isn't playable in the traditional sense. One of the pages you linked is this one where it currently uses "N/A". The other I'll fix. --CanvasK (talk) 23:27, June 6, 2026 (UTC)
- Apologies, mean Air acceleration rather than Walk. 148.0.118.196 23:32, June 6, 2026 (UTC)
