Split Electroshock Arm into its own page[edit]

Since the Electroshock Arm is a unique special with a different name, it should probably be split into its own page. Crazyal02 (talk) 17:36, 19 September 2014 (EDT)

I agree. If Roy's Flare Blade and Pichu's Agility can have their own pages, Dark Pit's Electroshock Arm can have one too. Tepig (talk) 18:27, 19 September 2014 (EDT)
Neutral If we can work out enough differences to make it its own page, I'd be fine with it, but as it stands, there's not enough. Also, some clone moves are not standalone pages. Berrenta (talk) 18:59, 19 September 2014 (EDT)
From what I see, all cloned moves have separate pages as long as their names are different. For example, Falco's Blaster is more different fom Fox's Blaster than Pichu's Agility is from Pikachu's Quick Attack. However, Pichu's Agility has it's own page because it has a different name, and Falco's Blaster is in the same page as Fox's. Tepig (talk) 17:41, 20 September 2014 (EDT)
For reference, Fire Bird doesn't have its own page, and Dr. Tornado is in split discussion. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Orchestral 17:46, 20 September 2014 (EDT)
The way I see it, every special move, even cloned ones, should get it's own page as long it has a different name and/or works in a slightly different way. So Electroshock Arm, Fire Bird, Dr. Tornado, and Falco's Blaster should all get their own pages. Tepig (talk) 18:12, 20 September 2014 (EDT)
I originally had it as it's own page, but it was made into a redirect. Gpev96 (talk)
I think once we know about custom moves for Pit's Upperdash Arm, that may determine whether or not to split. If they're different from variations of Dark Pit's Electrodash Arm, that may be enough to back a split. Berrenta (talk) 18:32, 20 September 2014 (EDT)
Okay, since the two Pits do have separate custom side specials, I will go ahead and support this split. Berrenta (talk) 23:42, 24 September 2014 (EDT)
I support a split. Blue Ninjakoopa 18:00, 28 September 2014 (EDT)

Support The different properties and different customs should be enough to warrant it having its own page. Scr7Scr7 sig.png(talk · contribs) 18:05, 28 September 2014 (EDT)

Support Like everything above, there's enough differences to make a split. Jiashen C. (talk) 17:10, April 1, 2019 (EDT)

Support Unique enough to warrant its own page, in my opinion. Crazy456Rhino (talk)

It was decided that Electroshock Arm should be its own page. Wolff (talk) 19:01, April 20, 2019 (EDT)

"strong arm" explanation[edit]

As seen here, the "strong arm" compound can be written either as 豪腕 or 剛腕. They still have the same meaning (豪 and 剛 also have the same 音 reading; they're just two different ways to write the same compound). If you still wish to debate which translation should be used, let's discuss it here before we make more of an edit war out of it than we already have. FirstaLasto 16:27, 1 March 2015 (EST)
