No. I've heard it being used for a long time. It simply refers to the cast of SSB. It's important because these guys appears in every single game. Although the term "Original 12" isn't used often, "Original 8" is even used for the name of one of brawls events. It deserves and article. 98.117.158.220 01:30, January 1, 2010 (UTC)

Delete This seems like a waste of an article to me. It is essentially a smaller veteran article to me. The term itself doesn't appear to be widespread and even if it is, do we really need two articles about almost the exact same subject, except one that includes the same exact information as the other one, but with a little more added?
