Pekkle is a female smasher from Alabama who trained exclusively under the guidance of Isai in the original Super Smash Bros., and was described by Moogle, a fellow Alabama smasher, as one of the best SSB players in Alabama, and most likely one of the best female SSB player in the world. She seldom plays Melee but she regularly hangs out with Moogle and company at Melee tournaments in Birmingham, Alabama.
Isai is known to have played at tournaments using the tag "Mel", which is short for Pekkle's real life name, Melissa.
Pekkle has taken a Smash hiatus to pursue other gaming interests, including, but not limited to, Defense of the Ancients, World of Warcraft and Heroes of Newerth.
