Notability

After defeating 13th in the UK, Tigerton, JJ has received huge notoriety, similar to that of the Pythra player Matilda. This was a huge deal in the UK Smash Scene and he is being closely watched by many of the UK scene as an incredible upcoming prodigy, especially with his surprisingly young age. Unless it's like maybe against a top or near top level player at a significant event, a single win does not grant enough notability (in which case a player capable of that win probably would have already had the results prior to be notable). And if someone is "upcoming"... then that's a pretty clearcut sign they aren't notable yet, we don't have Smasher articles for players that might become notable in the future, we have them for players who have already established their notability. Support the deletion. Online results are mixed at best and good placements from larger offline tournaments are yet to be seen. And yeah prodigy does not equal to "added bonus" and a single upset does not mean sufficient notability. NPM Morr!? 19:59, September 24, 2023 (EDT)
