Oreshi (おれし) is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Steve player from Japan. Oreshi began Ultimate as a Snake player, notably placing 13th at the regional, HST SP 2. However, Oreshi is better known for being one of the first Steve mains in Japan, alongside Paru, to see success offline.
Oreshi's breakout performance came at the major Kagaribi 3 where he would placed 25th after taking sets off of Rotsuku, Ejima, and Taikei. Oreshi would follow this up by placing 17th at the major Seibugeki 8, where he would defeat Noi, Shinmai, and Aiyu. He has also beaten ElleGo at Kagaribi 5 and Renami at Kurobra 24.
He is known as a strong online player having reached a Smashmate rating of over 2,100. He has also placed 3rd at Tamisuma SP 236, 5th at Maesuma 198, and 9th at Maesuma 197 and Maesuma 202.
