Hitbox visualization showing Mr. Game & Watch's dash attack.
Overview[edit]
Mr. Game & Watch slides his head along the ground while wearing his helmet. It has quick startup at frame 6 and long duration, but it also has a long interruptability of 37 frames making it easy to punish if you hit the early hit. However, since its hitboxes end on frame 29, Dash attack only has 8 frames of endlag, and it can be -5 on shield if it's perfectly spaced to connect with the last active frame of the hitbox. It can Combo against fastfallers if you hit the late hit and, due to its launch angle, it can stage spike opponents hanging on the ledge, which can result in the opponent getting KOed at fairly low %s.
Mr. Game & Watch's DACUS completly stops his momentum, making it travel no distance, which sounds completly useless, but it can occasionally be used to avoid overshooting with a running up smash. It's still a niche DACUS but not completly useless like some pepole would think.
