Overview[edit]
Diddy Kong throws the opponent behind him. The throw has relatevly low knockback and low endlag which allows it to reliably combo into his aerials, especialy into his up aerial, which was dubbed as the "Hoo-Hah".
They did nerf it in balance patches by increasing his knockback and making his angle worse, but it always remained a pretty solid combo throw.
Update history[edit]
Down throw deals less damage (7% → 6%) and has increased knockback scaling (40 → 50), hindering its combo potential.
His damage went back to what it was before patch 1.0.6 (6% → 7%).
Angle (105° → 106°).
Knockback scaling (50 → 59).
Altogether, these changes hinder down throw's combo potential.
