AndrewAJT, formerly known as Andrewajt62, is a strong active smasher in the Tristate Area. He is also a regular on netplay and has made videos and guides documenting how to set it up, in addition to other SSB-related YouTube videos. At Apex 2014, he defeated Duck and Tope in Melee pools, before losing to Lucky and a losers bracket rematch with Tope. AndrewAJT was one of the early adopters of Melee netplay, placing first in the opening season of Anther's Ladder while simultaneously competing offline. He was ranked 15th on the February 9th, 2014 Melee Tri-state Power Rankings.
AndrewAJT began taking an interest in competitive Smash when he joined SmashBoards in 2007, and became active in the Smash 64 netplay online scene. He ultimately switched to Melee, attending his first offline tournament in 2013. His greatest Melee tournament win came in 2015, where he defeated JesiahTEG in Grand Finals at Cusetown Beatdown to win a 95 entrant tournament in New York State. While he is most known for Melee, he has competed in all Smash games. AndrewAJT is known for his patient playstyle and strong punish game. He retired from competitive Melee in 2016 due to wrist pain, but returned to the Smash scene by beginning to compete in Ultimate in 2023, playing Mario and Samus in offline and online events. In online events, he enters using the startgg account AndrewAJTonline.
