Sticker.jpg
A sticker as an ingame item.

Stickers are a collectible item in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, similar to Super Smash Bros. Melee's Trophies. They can be added to a background and made into a collage. According to the update in which they were confirmed, they will be easier to obtain than Trophies. Stickers can be obtained by picking them up as an item, won through Spectator Mode over Wi-Fi, defeating minor enimies in the subspace Emissary(like Trophies in Melee) and other such methods. Stickers have been shown to appear as items in nearly every game mode, even during Wi-Fi Battles.

Power-Ups

Stickers being placed on a trophy base.

On Friday, Jan 18th, Dojo!! announced that stickers can be used as power-ups. To do so, the stickers must be placed on the undersides of character trophies. Different stickers give different boosts, as well as some that are character-specific. Larger stickers give higher boosts, but take up more space on the trophy base. Applied stickers can be moved around, but removing one discards it permanently (though they can be regained through playing). Losing during adventure mode now causes half of the used stickers to be lost.

The statistical boost is only for adventure mode and not for ordinary brawls.

Power-Up Effects

There are different types of powerups such as:

Body - For Body Based attacks such as Wario or Kirby.

Flinch - Keeps the character from tripping as often.

Launch Resistance - Smashes don't launch you as far.

Head - for head butts such as Olimar's basic attack.

Donut - Constantly heals characters at a rate of about 1 percent every couple of seconds.

Fire - Increases damage of attacks using fire based. Such as Ike.
