Little elaboration on disputes

Saying "you both have very good points" without elaborating on what those good points are does not contribute to the discussion. If you are going to try and offer a "third way", elaborate. In that situation, for example, you could have said something like "there is definitely a difference in styles of characters, and some characters are objectively better than others, but player skill usually determines the victory of a match".

Of course, I think what you were trying to say is that the debate at hand was off-topic or unnecessary. While there is certainly a point where disputes can get irrelevent to the main topic, it's best not to try and resolve something that is on course to resolving itself. I made that same mistake long ago. Usually, disputes on this wiki solve themselves. If it gets to the point of Personal attacks, you should probably alert a mod. I see you have good intentions, but as I have experienced during my years on this wiki, you don't have to be the hero of every discussion. Mr. AnonAnon.pngtalk 22:57, 21 August 2012 (EDT)

Thanks for the tip. ScoreCounter (talk) 04:35, 22 August 2012 (EDT)

One edit

Before anyone bites my head off, I did use show preview, I just didn't notice my mistakes. Appologies. ScoreCounter (talk) 15:11, 30 August 2012 (EDT)

Your reason for not being able to brawl online

You know...no one can do anything with your friend code other than being able to join rooms you host on Brawl wifi and vice versa. And even then, they need you to register their code for them to do that. So yeah, even if you are going to fervently believe everyone online is a potential pedophile that will steal your identity, they can't do anything with your friend code, so refusing to brawl people online because of it is pretty senseless. Yes, i see you point, I am just trying to avoid people asking. ScoreCounter (talk) 15:56, 30 August 2012 (EDT)

If he has personal reasons for not wanting to Brawl online, let him be. Mr. AnonAnon.pngtalk 16:22, 30 August 2012 (EDT)

Thanks

Thanks. Also, I intend on extensively covering several of the DK-related articles if that's alright with you. --EpicWendigo (talk) 16:37, 17 April 2014 (EDT)

My most sincerest apologies

If any spam is about to get an influx, my fault! Bad time to edit... ScoreCounter 06:40, 6 June 2014 (EDT)

EGX London

You went too, huh? Are you gonna be there tomorrow? If you heard the announcers at the Smash Wii U tournament bigging up an "Isaac Sharp", that was me :P Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatum 17:17, 26 September 2014 (EDT)

Yeah... I only got a one day ticket, since up north quite a way. I was mostly referred to as "Ginger Shaun", by the by. ScoreCounter 17:20, 26 September 2014 (EDT)
I only qualified for the Wii U tournament at the very end of the day, so I didn't see any of the other finalists. That was my second qualifier, I lost a sudden death as Charizard to a Bowser at the very start of the day. Tomorrow, I'm gonna try and get back up there! Sorry I can't help out more with the official names (running off 3G here), but don't forget to update the move names for Mii Fighters and Wii Fit Trainer! Yeah, I'll make sure. I qualified at about 1-ish, won my semi, then got 2-pointed on the duel. ScoreCounter 17:29, 26 September 2014 (EDT)
I took a complete risk and went Olimar in my semi. It didn't pay off. Just getting to the semi was great fun though, because I qualified by winning a match on Boxing Ring where all four of us were Little Mac. The whole queue cheered Little Mac's name! Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatum 17:33, 26 September 2014 (EDT)
I just went Link all the way. I was on the set-up opposite the queue though. But the crowd did chant my name at one point because of how shocked I was at the SF result... (As I put it then - "...That was unexpected.", to which (I want to say Alexander?) said I was not self confident...) that was a tad embarrassing. ScoreCounter 17:45, 26 September 2014 (EDT)
Oh hang on, did you lose to a Marth? I saw that match in the background while I was buying some socks. Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatum 18:06, 26 September 2014 (EDT)
No, a Sonic. Hoped to force Sudden Death, but then he got a smash ball. ScoreCounter 18:08, 26 September 2014 (EDT)
