Little elaboration on disputes

Saying "you both have very good points" without elaborating on what those good points are does not contribute to the discussion. If you are going to try and offer a "third way", elaborate. In that situation, for example, you could have said something like "there is definitely a difference in styles of characters, and some characters are objectively better than others, but player skill usually determines the victory of a match".

Of course, I think what you were trying to say is that the debate at hand was off-topic or unnecessary. While there is certainly a point where disputes can get irrelevent to the main topic, it's best not to try and resolve something that is on course to resolving itself. I made that same mistake long ago. Usually, disputes on this wiki solve themselves. If it gets to the point of Personal attacks, you should probably alert a mod. I see you have good intentions, but as I have experienced during my years on this wiki, you don't have to be the hero of every discussion. Mr. AnonAnon.pngtalk 22:57, 21 August 2012 (EDT)

Thanks for the tip. ScoreCounter (talk) 04:35, 22 August 2012 (EDT)

One edit

Before anyone bites my head off, I did use show preview, I just didn't notice my mistakes. Appologies. ScoreCounter (talk) 15:11, 30 August 2012 (EDT)

Your reason for not being able to brawl online

You know...no one can do anything with your friend code other than being able to join rooms you host on Brawl wifi and vice versa. And even then, they need you to register their code for them to do that. So yeah, even if you are going to fervently believe everyone online is a potential pedophile that will steal your identity, they can't do anything with your friend code, so refusing to brawl people online because of it is pretty senseless. Yes, i see you point, I am just trying to avoid people asking. ScoreCounter (talk) 15:56, 30 August 2012 (EDT)

If he has personal reasons for not wanting to Brawl online, let him be. Mr. AnonAnon.pngtalk 16:22, 30 August 2012 (EDT)

Thanks

Thanks. Also, I intend on extensively covering several of the DK-related articles if that's alright with you. --EpicWendigo (talk) 16:37, 17 April 2014 (EDT)
