OT to this day says that Sonic is OP. His Spin Dashes are completely unpunishable in every way (whether on shield, block, or counterattack because of the recent updates and its priority), has a recovery that is long-distance and invincible for some reason, and an up throw that combos into anything. Also his mobility is ridiculous but I'll let that slide. Also, OT believes the back throw nerf was not severe at all. See his video titled "2slow" and he responds to a comment saying that. It doesn't help when Sonic "mains" taunt every three seconds either. But I'm with Aidan. Ever since the infamous circle throw got nerfed, Sonic has to KO with attacks. He can't KO if you DI up throw towards the front. Forward aerial KOs onstage at 170+%. And I'm pretty sure Spring Jump loses invincibility at the apex. Did you completely ignore my post to Aidan? Also I have so much naturally predisposed weaknesses in the Sonic matchup ON TOP of his complete nonsense because of me kinda inheriting gameplay flaws from OT, what I get for following him so long. Also it's pretty obnoxious when he probably has the lowest skill curve of the top tiers. At least Sheik or ZSS take skill to use. All you need for Sonic is the B button and grab. I'm sorry of this and the previous posts were unnecessary, but yes, I do believe that OT is not so accurate about his statement. Since the Diddy Kong nerf, there really isn't a character in my opinion that is to be considered overpowered unless if you want to say that Sheik wins against every character and while she's the best character for good reasons (unlike ridiculous reasons like Smash 64 Pikachu, Brawl Meta Knight, and Pre-Patch Diddy Kong) even she's pretty balanced. It might be a stretch to call him the best but he is definitely top 4 after the shieldstun changes made his Spin Dashes unpunishable on shield.
