The Big House 5 is an ongoing Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U national tournament held in Dearborn, Michigan from October 2nd-4th, 2015. It is hosted by veteran TO Juggleguy and the rest of the Michigan Smash community.
The tournament was partially funded through a donation drive compendium which ran from September 3 - September 26, 2015 and resulted in pot size increases for both games as well as funding to fly notable players to the tournament, such as Vinnie, Abadango, Javi and Ice, among others. The Big House 5 currently stands as the second largest Melee tournament of all time with 1,316 entrants.
