Team YP is the esports branch of pornography site YouPorn.com, with teams in Dota 2 and Super Smash Bros. On June 8, 2015, the team expanded into Smash when they pickied up Ganondorf player Bizzarro Flame.

EVO 2015 Controversy

VGBootCamp president GimR released a statement detailing that the "YP" tag would not be present in player Bizzarro Flame's tag due to VGBootCamp's desire to refrain from including potentially suggestive and inappropriate content associated with the adult media site in the wake of younger viewers. This sparked a backlash by members of the community who believe that the letters "YP" are too vague to be identifiable by viewers who are unfamiliar with the team as well as the fact that Team YP is a legitimate sponsor and is being stiffed from receiving their end of the sponsorship deal by not being given ample publicity despite financing Bizzarro Flame.

In response, Bizzarro Flame refused to take part in the long-waited money match between himself and rival Ganondorf player Kage on stream. To further add to the split in fans, VGBootCamp rival CLASH Tournaments stated that they would be content with streaming the match on their own channel. In the end VGBootCamp did not stream the Salty Suite due to Bizzarro Flame's imminent refusal.
