Update

The start button article needs a bit of an upgrade. Does anyone know offhand if you can map controls to the start/+ button when customizing them in Brawl? And if so, does that mean that you can map the pause function to another button? And if so, I guess that should be mentioned on the pause page, too. --RJM Talk 00:52, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

It's been fixed, so I'll remove the cleanup banner. Cheezperson {talk}stuff 03:59, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Retitled "Start-Pause button"

...using {{DISPLAYTITLE}} to display the title of "Start/Pause button" and not have it as a subpage. Miles (talk) 16:29, 9 October 2010 (EDT)

You know, why title it, "Start/Pause Button" in the first place? Only one of the four controllers you can use to play an SSB game calls it the Start/Pause Button. The N64 controller's Start button is only called Start, the Wii Remote's is called + and the Classic controller's is called + or Start. I think Start is a better title because it's what the button is genrally called; even when referring to Gamecube nobody says, "press the Start/Pause button." Not to mention that both Start-Pause Button and Start/Pause Button both look unappealing as title names. Doctor Pain 99 (CTE) 22:49, 10 October 2010 (EDT)
Except the Gamecube controller can be used for all three Super Smash Bros games, and is the controller that most pros use (even Sakurai uses it). Furthermore, this is what the button is called, so it should be titled as such. Mr. Anon (talk) 22:55, 10 October 2010 (EDT)

I'm pretty sure the official name is Start/pause, so it should be kept that way. Correct me if I'm wrong about this, however. Mr. Anon (talk) 23:00, 10 October 2010 (EDT)
