Lowest damage

What is the record for the lowest damage by a standard KO? I recall once Star KO'ing Samus in SSBB with R.O.B.'s down smash at 5% damage. 218.186.10.237 12:04, November 18, 2009 (UTC)

By standard KO, do you mean not purposely KO yourself. If so, it can be done at 0% by just running off the screen. You can be KOd at any percentage I think. It is just easier at higher ones. There is no record. ☆The Solar Dragon (talk)☆ 16:20, November 18, 2009 (UTC)
That's right, I meant you don't purposely KO yourself. All smash attacks deal some damage, don't they? But some of them deal very little and STILL can KO the opponent at the start of battle. What happened as mentioned above was: Start >Samus at 0% and me (ROB).> Samus comes over. >I execute down smash immediately which spins Samus, deals 5% damage, and sends her flying upwards for a Star KO. 4 seconds in all. It was done on Brinstar if I'm not wrong.218.186.10.227 01:26, November 19, 2009 (UTC)
I see where your getting with this...he means he clashed moves at zero and it produced a large amount of knockback, apparently enough to KO. But I also picture the situation- they jumped to the top of the stage and it happened, which would be very possible considering the stage layout. S.D. was saying that there can't be a world record since you can KO yourself- but also, consider this- edgehogging a character at any damage and sucessfully doing it without harming the foe can be considered a "world record", since they could be anywhere from 0% to 999%. Now the standard smash attack deals 15-30% (considering charge times), which isn't a "record". I don't even know if they were keeping track of this stuff...HavocReaper48 >:D!!! 01:46, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

1-on-1 self destructs in SSB4

I pretty thoroughly tested this in demo, and every KO in a 1-on-1 match was credited to the other player even if it was walking off the stage without getting hit in the first three seconds. If self destructs in this context are possible, I'd like to see video evidence of it. Miles (talk) 18:58, 29 September 2014 (EDT)

I'll see if I can get a screenshot of the results screen; unlike the full game the demo lets you upload screenshots to Miiverse. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Different 19:01, 29 September 2014 (EDT)
Okay here's the deal - first I was apparently wrong about screenshots, the "you can't do this" block was just father in the process than I had tried.
Second, it appears that in 1v1s, your SDs count as both SDs for yourself and KOs for your opponent. So in this one match where I SD'd twice and KO'd the CPU twice, the results went as follows:
P1: 2 KOs, 2 SDs
P2: 2 KOs, 2 Falls
I'm having a hard time testing this for 3/4-player matches but I suspect the rules may be similar - counted as SDs as opposed to falls, but still credited to an opponent's KOs. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Obfuscating 19:34, 29 September 2014 (EDT)
