Recipherus is a retired Sheik main from Los Angeles, California. He was a well-known Sheik professional in the early age of Melee and was considered to be Ken's main competition in California at the time. He placed well in the Tournament Go series. He travelled across the US placing 2nd at the MOAST and 1st at Snexus 2 and won a, then record setting $8,000 for 1st at IVGF Northwest Regionals. In July 2015 Recipherus did an AMA on the Smash subreddit but indicated that he is not currently interested in returning to competitive Smash.
