==Background==
Nitrocidal discovered the competitive scene in the spring of 2005. Interested in getting to play other people, he communicated with several Calgary players including {{sm|xpiritflare}}, and his friend Neil. Nitrocidal began to organize a [[tournament]] set for August, 2005. However, due to his lack of organizational skills and an unseen financial crisis, he was forced to cancel it, leaving many Edmonton and Calgary smashers angry.

After that incident he left the smash scene until late 2006, where he met {{Sm|RJM}}, and attended the second [[Pro Impact BI-WEEKLY Smash]] tournament.


The name "Nitrocidal" was decided on after his effective use of [[Kirbycide]]s in the 2006 [[Pro Impact Players]]' bi-weekly tournaments. A Kirbycide which results in a KO'd opponent without taking out Kirby himself was similarly dubbed a '''Nitrocide®'''.

Background[edit]
