Jousuke is the top SSB64 player in Japan. He is considered to be the top Samus main in the world, one of the few mains that Isai is not considered the best at. He consistently wins recent tournaments in his area. Jousuke also plays all other characters at a high level, as seen in his various 12-character crew battles. He is known for his incredible spacing, which is expected of a top Samus main, and his fancy use of the last hit of Samus's f-air to link devastating finishers. He also won the Kanto Smash 64 tournament in 2012 and a 200 person online tournament known as Smash 64 Spring Online Tournament.
