With a funny attitude and great jokes, Smash Dash was popular among the users of [[SmashBoards]]. Smash Dash aired each Sunday at around 3:00 P.M. (NST).

SmashDash featured two series before concluding on the day of ''Brawl''{{'}}s Japanese release; Kovich did not wish to spoil the game for himself, as [[Masahiro Sakurai]] had begun posting spoilers to the DOJO!! after the game's release. Despite a push by co-hosts [[2nd Stamp]] (Callum Stamp) and [[FoulPlay]] (Kieran Monaghan) for a third series, no developments were made.
Smash Dash ended on the week of Brawl's release in Japan. This was due to the amount of spoilers roaming the internet and that [[Masahiro Sakurai]] (who ran [[Smash Bros. DOJO!!]]) decided to start posting spoilers on the Dojo as updates until the American launch of the game. The voice actor of [[Smash Dash]], Ian Kovich, did not want to know anything about ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'' until it was released in the US and has played it for himself. The series ended because there was no voice actor. However, it was stated that the series would start again if [[2nd Stamp]] and [[FoulPlay]] could acquire James Rolfe (widely known for his role as The Angry Video Game Nerd) to be the voice actor of [[Smash Dash]], but because it was near impossible to even contact James, this never happened. It was later revealed that this was merely a joke to lighten the mood until 02/11/08. Smash Dash had actually emailed James Rolfe in attempt for him to become the voice actor of the Smash Dash series beyond Episode 12. Unfortunately, James Rolfe never responded, and the Smash Dash site has since been shut down, effectively marking this the official end to the series.

===Easter Egg Development===
Since the Friday of Episode IV had no update, [[Gimpyfish]] was going have a part replacing it. Unfortunately, extenuating circumstances stopped Gimpy from turning in his dub to Callum Stamp ([[2nd Stamp]]) on time. On New Years, it became SmashDash's first Easter Egg.
A false "prophet" known as "The All Mighty Goat" was going to feature a spot on Episode IX, but he was debunked and so his cameo was deleted from the show. However, FoulPlay announced on the website that the spot would be in an upcoming easter egg.

SmashDash was a podcast hosted by Ian Kovich that recapped updates featured on the Smash Bros. DOJO!!. Airing on Sundays, the show became popular on SmashBoards due to Kovich's sense of humour, as well as the general pre-release hype of Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
