The Mario Bros. team is a special team that consists of Mario and Luigi that appears in Super Smash Bros.

The team consists of Mario and Luigi and are battled on Peach's Castle. The player and a random character must defeat both Mario and Luigi in order to proceed to the next stage. This is on Stage 4 of 1P Game.

The Mario Bros. team also appears in Super Smash Bros. Melee in Adventure Mode. If the player has unlocked Luigi, they will fight Metal Mario and Metal Luigi instead of their regular forms. If Luigi has not been unlocked yet, then they will fight Metal Mario. If the player manages to defeat both brothers, they will be rewarded the Metal Bros. KO bonus. The Mario Bros. team does not appear as a team in Super Smash Bros. Melee's Classic Mode (nor is it in Adventure Mode) since the team battles on Classic Mode are chosen at random.
