The How to Play movie is an archive movie in Super Smash Bros. Brawl that teaches the player basic techniques on how to play the game. It shows Mario fighting Bowser on a stage that resembles the Midair Stadium.
The movie shows how to:
- Walk and run
- Jump
- Perform normal attacks, strong attacks, and smash attacks with the A button
- Use special moves with the B button
- Shield
- Roll
- Dodge
- Grab
- use a Final Smash
