Slash Launcher (ランチャースラッシュ, Launcher Slash), known as Surging Slash in the PAL version of Super Smash Bros. 4 and as Gale Stab (疾風突き) in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, is one of three side special moves for the Mii Swordfighter. When used, the Mii begins charging. Once the move is released, the Swordfighter lunges forward, striking any enemies he/she happens to collide with. The move is very similar to Ike's custom move Close Combat.

As Gale Stab in Ultimate, the move's animation is changed from a sword swipe to a lunging stab.

Customization

Special Move customization was added in Super Smash Bros. 4. These are the variations:

1. Airborne Assault	2. Slash Launcher	3. Chakram
"Flip forward to strike a foe, and then rebound off of them."	"Rush through anyone in your path, and launch them upward."	"A throwing weapon that you can guide with directional inputs."
