I really like the templates used as shorthands for the two different smash 4 games (i.e. Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U). These are great ways to optimize the webpages themselves. I want these same templates for every game in the series, for example {{ssb}.}, {{ssbm}.}, {{ssbb}.}, {{ssb4}.} and {{ssbu}.}.The Other Jared (talk) 19:07, July 24, 2022 (EDT)

Seems like a lot of effort for little payoff. I don't think these are necessary. Alex the Weeb 19:16, July 24, 2022 (EDT)

I've had a similar idea in the back of my mind but instead it was a unified template that took a shorthand and outputs a full-name link. I think that would be better than templates for every game. Also, the templates wouldn't optimize webpages, they just help editors streamline things or keep them consistent; nothing that readers would notice. --CanvasK (talk) 19:51, July 24, 2022 (EDT)
