Forum:Custom monobook?

I'll be brief, seeing that's how I usually am about wiki stuff in most cases:

Monobook can be customized in somewhat basic ways, see here, and previously on SmashWikia there was a skin change discussion that was closed. Now I would wonder if anyone but me was interested in reviving the idea? --HavocReaper'48 16:15, 23 November 2010 (EST)

I basically agree, but I'd say that two areas should definitely be changed from the default Monobook - the background image, and the little icon to the left of the user bar (top-right of the page). Not drastically, but just to give SmashWiki some visual differentiation (use a Smash Bros. icon for the icon, and something relatively simple for the bg. (I've got this as my custom bg right now, but I wouldn't even have the Smash Ball in a "real" version, just the big/faint logo in the top left)

One other thought - the favicon for the wiki is identical to the SmashWikia, and also disappears a bit on the tab bar in Firefox. Perhaps tinting it blue or somesuch would be a good idea. - Reboot (talk) 23:38, 23 November 2010 (EST)

So what are we thinking for a new favicon? A shrink of the logo? Retain the Smash Bros. symbol with a non-grey colour? The usericon should probably be a small bright (say red) Smash Bros. symbol. Toomai Glittershine 14:55, 27 November 2010 (EST)
