There are sprites seen in the actual game, like in previous games. They are slightly different (outline is even along the entire sprite, Sonic's has his shoe(?) under his head). I believe they should be added, as well. PikaSamus (talk) 11:23, 8 October 2014 (EDT)

Yeah there's two versions of the head icons, both of which are used in different places: these large ones, and the smaller ones you're talking about. I was debating whether to upload the small ones for two reasons:

1. Arguably, they don't really have a use. We wouldn't be using them for things like tournament results while we have the large ones, and I wasn't really sure if any difference between the two sets was notable enough to demonstrate.
2. They're distorted around the edges. Each of the images is 16px square, but the head itself is only 14 - and instead of a blank space around the edge to frame them, the edge is a copy of the pixels one row/column further towards center. So either I'd upload them as-is and they look weird, or I'd fix the "bleeding" effect to make them look right - which would involve editing 400+ images. Unless I can get XL to do this, I'm not currently inclined to do so without a good reason. Toomai Glittershine The Altruistic 12:14, 8 October 2014 (EDT)

Wii U icons
