Captain Falcon's neutral attack consists of 2 jabs and a knee strike followed by a flurry of punches.
Captain Falcon's neutral attack consists of two jabs and a knee strike followed by a flurry of punches. His jab is considered to be among his best moves in general (along with his [[Captain Falcon (SSBB)/Up aerial|up aerial]]), due to the versatility of jab canceling and coming out on frame 3. Its first hits can be used to rack up damage, keeping his finishers fresh, outspeeding opponents’ moves in close-quarters combat, and preventing opponents from comboing/approaches.
Jab’s best combos involve getting the first two hits in, followed by grabbing the opponent, which can rack up damage at low percents. The jab infinite, while also decent at racking up damage at lower percents, can be punishable on shielding opponents and Falcon has better ways to combo/rack up damage.
