The Ancient Minister is the main antagonist of the Subspace Emissary in the upcoming game Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He leads the Subspace Army, and plans to pull the world into Subspace, which is apparently a form of nothingness. He uses the Subspace Bomb to do this, as the weapon will devastate anything in the area. His face cannot be seen, only his eyes (in a similar fashion to Sir Grodus from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door), and doesn't appear to have arms or legs. The bottom of him looks mechanical, and several blinking mechanical lights can be seen. The Ancient Minister seems to have control over the Halberd. It is revealed later as the story progresses, that He is actually being controlled by Master Hand, who is being controlled by a mysterious blue figure, who will be revealed after you defeat Master Hand. Near the end, he is betrayed by his own R.O.B.s and they side with Ganondorf. They fire at the Minister, which sets HIM on fire. Some bombs are unleashed. A few minutes later, it is revealed that the Ancient Minister himself is a R.O.B.
