Evolution 2016, or simply EVO 2016, is the upcoming 15th edition of the Evolution Championship Series, a fighting game tournament held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada. EVO 2016 is scheduled to take place on July 15th to 17th, 2016, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with the Mandalay Bay Events Center hosting the Sunday Finals games. It was announced on January 26th, by EVO's tournament director Joey "Mr. Wizard" Cuellar, that both Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U would be featured as official games on the EVO 2016 game lineup.[1][2]
