The Template:Nihongo was a line of handheld electronic games made by Nintendo and created by its game designer Gunpei Yokoi from 1980 to 1991. The name derives from how the Game & Watch includes a game and a built-in alarm clock.

43.4 million of those 59 games were sold worldwide.[1]

In the Super Smash Bros. series

The apparent main character of the series, Mr. Game and Watch, is an unlockable character in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. His moves are based off the various games he has starred in. In addition, the Game and Watch appears as 2 stages (Flat Zone and Flat Zone 2) and as a trophy.
