Due to the strict character limit of Youtube's channel description, I'll use this user subpage here to create an expanded version with greater detail about my channel, and to have a place to write about the going ons of my channel in an organised manner. For those coming onto this from SmashWiki, my youtube channel can be visited here.

What my channel is about

It's a Smash channel, showing videos of competitive and casual nature, and everything inbetween, that I do intend to start including other games on (eventually...). The main draw and focus are my Smash AI exploitation videos, showing off a variety of ways on how the Smash AI can be dumb and exploited. The main focus after that are the various videos I do of Smash's single player mode. Then when I get them recorded on my Wii, I upload tournament matches and interesting friendlies. And then there's the random miscellaneous Smash videos I do.

I do plan to have many videos of other games on my channel in time, but I have barely any at the moment, due to the non-focus and lack of ideas for them.

I'm may try my hand at lets playing in the near future, which if it goes well, could end up a major focus of the channel. Severe unconfidence in my voice keeps me from trying it though, maybe someday I could go through with it.

Current projects

The following are ongoing video projects of mine, listed in priority:

  • Smash AI exploitation - The main draw of my channel, new videos are uploaded on an inconsistent basis, as they're mainly done as I think of them and I usually don't plan specific videos in advance. With that said, I do try to go no more than 2 weeks without a new Smash AI exploitation video.
  • Smash Bullshit - An attempt to record and organise all those glorious instances of bullshit we love and hate in Smash. Not a formal project, as I don't intentionally attempt to get these videos, I just upload whenever I do inadvertently record such an instance.
  • Boss Battles Intense (no damage + other runs) - An ongoing endeavor where I clear Boss Battles on intense difficult without sustaining any damage whatsoever, with every character. I also will do other types of interesting runs, such as pure speed or putting myself under other restrictions. Progress has been going well thus far. The main difference between this and fighting the SSE bosses individually, is besides the addition of the Hands, I have to pull a no damage run on them all consecutively, while they are in significantly weakened forms. The individual boss is much easier to no damage here, but with them all together in a row, it's overall more difficult to get a complete no damage run.
  • Melee Event 51 The Showdown (No stock loss) - An ongoing endeavor where I clear The Showdown with every character, without sustaining any stock loss. I have achieved this previously with most of the characters, so hey lets do it again and record it, as well as try to do it with the other characters I never done it with. I will be playing in an efficient manner, and will also to try to avoid succeeding from the opponents suiciding and from extreme luck, though I will also try to keep it entertaining and go for flash bits as long as it doesn't hurt efficiency that much. Progress is well, though it may hit a brick wall when I have get to the really terrible characters (I'm still not sure if I will actually be able to get this done with Pichu).
  • All SSE bosses on intense (no damage, no stickers, no items) - An ongoing endeavor of where I defeat all the SSE bosses with every character on intense in an efficient manner, while sustaining no damage whatsoever, and without the aid of stickers and items. Originally conceptualised as "hey, I should record beating Duon on intense in his SSE form, while taking no damage, with every character". Then I thought I should record it on all the bosses in a single video for each character, for completionist sake, and the fact no one would really be interested in seeing a video of me just no damaging Petey Piranha.
    • By every character, I am counting Zelda/Sheik, Samus/Zero Suit Samus, and the individual pokemon of the Pokemon Trainer as separate, and each are planned to be done individually. I also plan to give this a shot with Nolimar.
    • I got asked a few times "Why don't you do this on Boss Battles?" and here's the answer; This series is about me no damaging the individual SSE bosses in an efficient manner, not all of them plus the individual Hands in succession. Additionally, this is differed from Boss Battles, by the fact that the bosses are significantly stronger in the SSE than they are in Boss Battles, making no damaging the individual bosses in SSE a lot more interesting and difficult (especially Tabuu, who I usually no damage on Boss Battles, but usually take the longest to no damage him in the SSE). Boss Battles is a different beast from what this endeavor accomplishes (that I'm accomplishing separately anyway).
  • Melee Event 50 Final Destination Match (No damage) - An ongoing endeavor of where I clear Final Destination Match with every character, without sustaining any damage in an efficient manner. Progress is well so far, though may slow down once I near the end and have characters like Pichu left to do this with. This is always done in conjunction with a no stock loss run on the Showdown.
  • Brawl Co-op Event 21 The True All-Star Battle (Solo) - An ongoing project where I clear Brawl's final Co-op event on the hard difficulty completely solo. Its difficulty varies immensely depending on the character; for some, if they have a quick and safe move that can OHKO the opposition (such as Snake and Meta Knight), this can be really easy. With other characters though, this can get really difficult. I plan to eventually clear this with every character, but unlike with the above projects, I do not guarantee I will actually ever achieve that ultimate goal; some characters I may not be able to ever do this with, and with the usually low drawing of these videos, I won't have the motivation to. Progress is slow, and it could very well end up abandoned by the time of Smash 4.
  • Classic Intense one stock runs - Not a formal project, though I periodically do a one stock run in one of the games' Classic mode. I do not intend to ever achieve this with every character nor even with a significant portion of them; even with my mains, one stock Classic runs are usually very frustrating and time consuming to get, and luck plays too much of a factor for me to enjoy them. They seem to draw decently well however, so there is motivation enough for me to keep occasionally making them.

Abandoned projects

  • Subspace Emissary segmented speed run - An attempt by me to speed run the SSE, segmented by level. Loss of interest and the videos drawing very little has made me put it at the absolute bottom of priority, to the point that I haven't done a video since July 2013, leaving it pretty much abandoned.

Planned future projects

These are projects I intend to start at some point in the near future:

  • Intense Subspace Emissary segmented speed run - If I ever do attempt to speedrun the SSE again, I'm going to do it on Intense, as it will probably draw much more interest that way.
  • (If I ever actually do it) Let's Play Brawl's Subspace Emissary (Intense, no stock loss, no stickers) - Is pretty much certain to be my first let's play. Not an interesting choice, but would be the obvious choice for the first, as familiarity and competency would make it the easiest and most comfortable for me to do, as I learn the ropes of let's playing and ease into it. Added stipulation of me doing it on Intense, without ever losing a stock and without the aid of stickers, to make it more interesting and separate it from the rest of the SSE let's plays. Will be very informative/walkthrough based.

Comments rules

I fully moderate comments on my channel. I allow as large of range in relevant comments as possible, and encourage criticism (though be prepared to have any criticism challenged if I disagree with it). The following type of comments will be deleted however with any attempted responses towards them squashed.

  • Melee vs Brawl shit - This pops up in Smash videos way too much, and it's hardly relevant to the video, as well as having little constructive value while being heavily provocative to cause more shit. Can't we leave the Melee vs Brawl shit back in 09?
    • On a related note, on any Project M videos I do, don't white knight Project M nor needlessly bash it. The Project M AI videos I do, like the AI videos I do in Melee and Brawl, are intended for entertainment purposes and to show off exploits/quirky behavior with the AI, they're not intended to be serious criticism of Project M. As such, I don't want a bunch of long comment seriously discussing PM/vouching their hatred for it on videos not relevant to such discussion, and white knighting PM in such videos makes you just look like a overly defensive fanboy that can't handle people instituting anything remotely negative about PM (on another note, when you are going to argue against someone critcising PM, your argument shouldn't be "PM is not for players like you/who cares about (insert whatever the other's criticism was about)", it just makes you look like an elitist asshole, while reinforcing the negative stereotypes of competitive players, and while not actually refusing the criticism stated).
  • Tires don exits shit - Commonly pops up in Smash videos, while like the above, being hardly relevant to the video, and having little constructive value while being heavily provocative to cause more shit (plus anti-tier as it is, is entirely bullshit).
  • Anything about religion, politics, or any other highly argumentative issue that keeps popping up in comments of irrelevant videos - Pretty obvious, these type of comments will pop up in completely irrelevant videos, which will then lead to a huge argument in the comments. Shouldn't need to explain while I'll immediately squashed these comments.
  • Comments decrying someone else for criticising, along with all the stereotypical comments associated with it - This shit may be commonplace elsewhere, it will not be tolerated here. Don't jump on someone simply for criticising. That said, if the person is just being dumb, then I probably won't care.
  • Attacks and trolling in general of course
  • Comments that are simply irrelevant to the video in general (this includes FIRST! comments, seriously don't do that shit).
